If you want a calm class to stretch, this is not your place. If you want to recover from an injury and walk out stronger than you walked in, it is.

Who it’s for

Intense, yes.
And tailored.

The classes are demanding: you sweat, you build strength and you repeat until the movement is right. But no exercise is the same for everyone. Dosi starts from your injury, your sport and what hurts, and adjusts the load to each person.

  1. 01

    Injuries and pain

Lower back, neck, knees, shoulders. Dosi has specific Polestar training in chronic lower back pain and in scoliosis.

  2. 02

    Athletes

Running, CrossFit, Hyrox, cycling. Core, posture and foot strike to perform better and put less load on your joints.

  3. 03

    Posture and back

Hours at a desk, scoliosis, bad habits. Body awareness and strength so your back stops complaining.

Classes

Three ways
to train.

With four people in the room, Dosi corrects you on every rep. Not sure where to start? Message her, tell her your case and she will tell you which class suits you.

Reformer

Group

Machine-based pilates, the one we do most here. Springs and pulleys to build strength with no impact: you sweat, a lot, without punishing your joints.

Mat

Group

Mat work with a hoop, ball, roller or bands. It looks easy until you try it: core, control and endurance using your own body weight.

Private

1-to-1 · Duo

One or two people and all the attention on you. For recent injuries, for cases that need to go step by step, or for anyone who wants a plan of their own.

Your instructor

Hi, I’m Dosi.

I qualified as a pilates instructor in 2011 and have kept training ever since: Polestar, chronic lower back pain, scoliosis, pregnancy, massage therapy. Before we start I ask what hurts, what sport you do and what you want to achieve. I plan your exercises around that, and then I push you. That is how a body recovers.

Questions

Before your
first class.

What people ask us most on WhatsApp. For rates and class packs, message us and we will send you the current details.

Where is the studio?

At Carrer de Vicent Serra i Orvay, 20, 07800 Eivissa (Ibiza). On Google Maps it shows as “Pilates Ibiza Dosi”.

What are the opening hours?

Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 19:00. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

How many people are in each class?

Four at most in group classes. Private sessions are for one or two people.

Are the classes gentle?

No. They are intense: you work on strength, you sweat and you repeat until the movement is clean. The intensity is adjusted to each person and each injury, but nobody comes just to stretch.

Do I need experience to start?

No. If you have never done pilates, Dosi teaches you the basics in the first few classes. Private sessions are the calmest way to start.

What is the difference between reformer and mat?

The reformer is a machine with a carriage, springs and pulleys: the resistance is adjusted to each person. Mat is pilates on a mat, with a hoop, ball or bands. Both follow the same principles of the method.

Can I do pilates with back pain or an injury?

Yes, and it is why most people come. Dosi has Polestar training in chronic lower back pain and scoliosis and prepares the exercises around your case. Tell her about your injury before the first class.

Is it the same as seeing a physiotherapist?

No. Dosi is a qualified pilates instructor and massage therapist, not a physiotherapist. Pilates complements treatment: if you are in rehab, coordinate it with your physio or your doctor.

Does it work alongside running or other sports?

Yes. Several runners among our clients use it to work on posture and foot strike and to put less load on their joints.

How do I book?

By WhatsApp or by calling 620 30 51 09. You can also email hola@pilatesdosi.com. We will tell you which slots are free that week.
